Amy has had a pretty good day. We’re still in cardiac ICU, but might move out tomorrow. Nausea is still a problem, but it hasn’t been as bad as yesterday or last night. She’s definitely stronger and less groggy today. She made it out of the room this afternoon for a brief walk and has spent a lot of time this evening sitting in a chair. Amy is off of the epinephrine now and her vital signs look good.
She’s a little puffy on her right side and that has the docs a bit puzzled. They want to take her down for an X-ray before she goes to sleep tonight. The chest tubes are still in, and she still has a very uncomfortable looking IV in her neck.
I was able to sneak the kids in for a brief visit with their mom after dinner tonight, and one of Amy’s melanoma warrior friends from Indiana dropped by after her appointment here.
Wanted to give a big THANK YOU to the grandmas that have been helping us out for the last week or so. I don’t know how we would have managed without the two of you.
Thanks for the continued prayers and support.
